Plans and usage - Dawn Documentation

Check Settings → Plan and Billing for your workspace’s current plan and commercial details. An administrator may need to open this section for you. Dawn’s workspace billing includes Builder seats and metered AI and compute usage. The available allowances, features, and commercial terms depend on the plan and any enterprise agreement.

What to review

Item	What it means
Builder seats	Members with authoring or AI permissions that count towards the workspace’s billable seats
AI usage	Work performed using language models
Compute usage	Processing such as data imports, queries, pipeline execution, training, and storage
Included allowances	Usage included with the applicable plan
Additional usage	Usage handled through the workspace’s available credits and spend settings

Use the current values displayed in the account or your agreement when estimating cost. Model choice, data volume, runtime, and refresh frequency can all affect usage; one fixed rate does not describe every workflow.

Before enabling recurring work

Run a representative task, inspect its usage, and consider how often it will repeat. Check the workspace’s spend controls and available balance before scheduling large imports or modelling runs.
